Recombined hEGF

hEGF, or oligopeptide-1 was the first Growth Factor that made its way into cosmetic products and Stanley Cohen was awarded a Noble prize in 1986 for it. Oligopeptide-1 has well-established wound healing and skin renewal properties.

What is hEGF

EGF is one of the most important growth factor proteins in our skin and plays a vital role in the production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid to maintain skin’s healthy, dense, and youthful appearance. If we imagine a baby’s skin, it is so thick and plump, because it is full of EGF. Once we reach our twenties, production of growth factors is already decreasing. As a result, cell turnover and repair slow, eventually affecting our appearance – skin starts to sag, and fine lines and wrinkles appear.

Ethically made rhEGF

Bioboost's yeast fermentation system is highly robust to produce hEGF without using or harming any animals while staying low cost, and being 100% friendly to the environment and human.
